Our Front Frame replaces the stock front crossmember. It's up to 15 lbs lighter than the stock STI frame, and its I-beam sections and many tube junctions make it stiffer and stronger. You choose the steering rack mounts to match your rack, and add the mounts and extras your build needs. A rear U-frame mount is included with every frame.
Which one do I need?
1. Steering Rack Options
Look at how your steering rack is mounted:

Options
Steering Rack Options
- Non-STI GD Rack is for any rack held by two clamps over two horizontal bushings.
- STI Style Rack is for the 2004-2007 racks with vertical barrel bushings. The bolts pass through those bushings, so we add STI brackets that support each bolt on both sides (double shear).
- 08+ (2015) Rack includes the STI brackets, plus the spacing and offset the 2008 and later racks need.
Right Hand Drive
The STI Style and 08+ (2015) racks use rack brace mounts on one side of the frame. On a right-hand-drive car, this option moves those mounts to the other side. It isn't needed with the Non-STI GD rack.
U Frame Mounts
Adds the front U-frame mount. Every frame already comes with a rear U-frame mount. The front mount is needed if you run a factory U-frame or a replacement that fits like one. If you're building your own front bracing or fitting a skid plate, it's optional, but it gives you a useful mounting point.
Jack Plate
A 3/16" 6061 aluminum skid plate. It ties the front and rear sections of the frame together, which makes the frame stiffer, and gives you a solid place to jack the car. It isn't designed as a rally skid plate.
NASCAR Swaybar
Replaces the factory sway bar and mounts with a complete NASCAR-style sway bar kit: the bar, sway links, bushings and tube mount.
H6 - EZ30/EZ36
Adds header clearance for the EZ30 and EZ36 H6 engines. You only need it for those engines. The EG33 fits the standard frame.
Before you order
Aftermarket headers. Some aftermarket headers don't fit perfectly with our frame and may need modifying.
Custom mounts. If your build needs a mount we don't list, contact us. We can often add custom mounts.

Common questions
How do I tell which steering rack I have?
Look at the rack's mounts. Two clamps over horizontal bushings means Non-STI. Vertical barrel bushings on a 2004-2007 rack means STI Style. A rack from a 2008 or later car takes the 08+ (2015) option.
Do I need the U Frame Mounts option?
Yes if you're running a factory U-frame or a replacement that fits like one. It's also a handy mounting point for custom bracing or a skid plate. The rear U-frame mount is already included.
My car is right-hand drive. What do I need?
If you're using an STI Style or 08+ (2015) rack, tick Right Hand Drive so the rack brace mounts are on the correct side. With a Non-STI GD rack, you don't need it.
Is the Jack Plate a skid plate for rally?
No. It stiffens the frame and gives you a jack point, but it isn't designed to protect a rally car.
I have an EG33. Do I need the H6 option?
No. The EG33 fits the standard frame. The H6 option is only for the EZ30 and EZ36.
Can I get it powder coated?
Yes, as an option on the product page. Powder coating adds about 2-6 weeks. See Powder Coating.
